Brana has worked with individuals, including children and teens, couples, and families in community clinic and private practice settings. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, chronic conflict, communication issues, creating a fulfilling intimate relationship, and school-related challenges. Brana also has experience working within the Jewish community.

Brana is a New York State Limited Permit Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Queens College. Brana is a professional member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Brana is a non-judgmental, warm, and empathic therapist. She connects easily with her clients and strives to create a comfortable and emotionally safe environment. Brana balances having a structured plan for working towards her clients’ goals with providing the space for them to express their needs and concerns freely. She helps her clients move forward by challenging beliefs that don’t serve them utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies.

Rates and Insurance:

Sessions are 45 minutes and are held in office or remotely via secure telehealth video software. Brana’s fee is $200/session.

Brana is an out of network provider, which means if you have out of network benefits you can submit the receipts from your sessions for partial reimbursement. If you’re not familiar with your insurance benefits, this is something we can look into for you. Send an email to our assistant, Kate Bladon, with a photo of the front and back of your insurance card and date of birth to get the information.

If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), this is a great opportunity to utilize them. Both are acceptable for session payments
