Candice Braman, MA, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Candice grew up in Queens, NY and currently resides in Long Island. She has worked with individuals, couples, and families in both community-based and private practice settings since 2017. Candice has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional regulation difficulties, perfectionism, high conflict couples, codependency, infidelity and trust issues, premarital counseling, coparenting issues, and life transitions. She helps couples explore each other’s world and support one another in becoming their more authentic selves, while coming together to create the relationship they both desire. Candice works with couples to understand their core vulnerabilities, often protected by reactive emotions and behaviors, and help them uncover and rework the destructive patterns keeping them stuck in pain and disconnection.

Candice is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Fashion Institute of Technology. Candice is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Candice is a compassionate, sincere, and intuitive therapist who strives to foster a genuine connection with her clients. She uses her non-judgmental and caring disposition to help individuals understand the lens through which they see themselves and the world around them. Candice creates a safe space for her clients to become aware of where their thoughts and feelings are leading them, while providing tools to redirect them towards the life they want. Imperfection is allowed and difficult discussions and uncomfortable feelings are given space to be seen and heard. Her clients will learn to honor the beauty in their humanness and find that “being” is enough.
