Lisa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Stony Brook University. Lisa received a Postgraduate Certificate in Addictions from Adelphi University.
She is a professional member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Lisa is a Level 1 Trained Gottman Method Couples Therapist and is certified in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). Lisa works with individuals, couples, and families with adolescents.
Lisa is a Long Island native who works collaboratively with couples and families to improve communication and help them develop a better understanding of one another. She specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families affected by substance abuse.
She has worked at a non-profit organization for over 5 years working with at-risk youth and their families. Lisa is passionate about working with teens and has been able to connect with some of the most challenging clients. She works with adolescents experiencing substance abuse and anger management issues, as well as their families.
